Half Day Tour

from Lechmühlen to Landsberg

Day Tour

from Epfach to Landsberg

The tour is suitable for experienced paddlers, but also for beginners who like to be sporty.

The two routes to Landsberg take about circa 4 and 6 hours. If you take your time and enjoy the beautiful nature, maybe even take a dip in the cool water, it can take a little longer. On the approx. 11 km or 19 km long section on the Lech you have a lot of nature, a calm river, two or four weirs to portage and a little adventure.

We meet at the entrance to the respective Lech weir. After a detailed briefing on how to use the equipment, you can go straight onto the water. We will give you helpful tips, information about dangers and explain the most important rules of conduct on the water.

We will discuss when you should call so that you do not have to wait long when you get off.

You will then receive your tour book. The entrances and exits are described here so that you can easily portage the barrages. We'll be happy to take the time to answer any questions you may have, and then we'll get started.

After an eventful ride, get off at the bathing lake before Lechstaustufe 15, just before Landsberg. We will pick you up there and bring you back to your car at the entrance.

Planning

You should bring that with you
  • Meals (especially enough to drink)
  • Quick-drying spare clothing
  • Fluffy spare clothes for afterwards
  • Head protection against sunstroke (to tie or with cord!)
  • Sun protection against sunburn (please apply cream BEFORE)
  • Insect protection against bites
  • Non-slip bathing or neoprene shoes

Shortly before departure we check the water level on the Lech. Then we will discuss with you whether the Lech is passable as planned or whether it is closed due to heavy rainfall, for example.
